Assistance program to adopt ISO, Organic, Global Gap certifications

Support Package Mapped and Developed by IC Armenia’s Expert Team Approved by the Government.

The support program aims to promote agricultural and industrial production and improve production management systems by providing partial reimbursement of related expenses.

Discussions with entrepreneurs indicate growing awareness of the importance of implementing production management systems; however, many are unable to do so due to financial constraints, which has a negative impact. Furthermore, statistics show that the number of companies in Armenia that have implemented internationally recognized quality management systems is small, both in absolute terms and in comparison with competing and similar countries in international trade.

The project will contribute to improving the quality of Armenian companies’ products by implementing modern quality management systems in their production processes.

The project offers partial reimbursement of expenses incurred by organizations and individual entrepreneurs registered and operating in the Republic of Armenia for conformity assessment and/or consulting services related to their production. This applies to entities engaged in the following sectors, as defined by the “Classification of Economic Activities” (order N 874-N of the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, dated September 19, 2013): “A (A) Agriculture, forestry, and fishing”—specifically groups 01.1 (Growing of non-perennial crops), 01.2 (Growing of perennial crops), 01.3 (Plant propagation), 01.4 (Animal production), and 03.2 (Freshwater aquaculture), as well as “C (C) Manufacturing”—with the exception of 18 (Printing and reproduction of recorded media) and 33 (Repair and installation of machinery and equipment).
